Dr. Rivera was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. She attended University of Florida for her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science, Master's degree in both Animal Science and Public Health, and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.

As a Health Professions Scholarship Program recipient, she actively served as an Army Veterinary Corps Captain immediately after vet school in 2019. She spent the first year in Fort Moore (formerly Fort Benning), Georgia. In Summer of 2020, she was assigned to San Antonio as the Officer In Charge of the Joint Base San Antonio veterinary clinics. After a little over 3 years in that position, she was medically retired and has elected to stay in San Antonio, TX with her husband, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.

During her active duty time, Dr. Rivera discovered a love for working dogs. That's why a portion of every euthanasia will be donated to both US War Dogs Association, a group dedicated to helping adoptive families of retired military working dogs, and Military Working Dogs Team Support Association, which provides morale-boosting care packages to both retired working dogs and active canine teams around the world.

In-Home Euthanasia

Dr. Rivera developed a passion for peaceful euthanasia experiences after her own dog Artemis, a goofy blue pitty mix, had a very sudden decline and subsequent stressful euthanasia experience.

She has worked in several clinics around San Antonio as a relief veterinarian, and knows that sometimes emergency euthanasia is unavoidable. She also knows that saying goodbye is never easy no matter where it happens. Dr. Rivera strives to offer caring and compassionate end-of-life services with a personal touch to pets and their people in the comfort and privacy of their own home.
